Rose Garden 5K

Please join us on Saturday October 22, 2022 for the inaugural Rose Garden 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk in Niagara Falls, NY. The race will take place at Hyde Park adjacent to the Rose Garden. The first 100 participants to register will receive a beautiful custom finisher medal that was designed especially for this event by Ashworth Awards. The event is being brought to you by the Niagara Beautification Commission and proceeds will be used to provide funding for the great work they do throughout the City of Niagara Falls.

START/FINISH
Both the 5K race and 1 Mile Walk will start and finish in front of the Rose Garden at Hyde Park. CLICK HERE to view the proposed 5K course. The 1 Mile route is an out and back course through the park.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place at the Oasis Pavilion located just north of the ice rink at Hyde Park and directly across the roadway from the Rose Garden.

Registration Fee: $25/$30 on race day

POST RACE CELEBRATION

All participants are invited to celebrate after the race at the Rose Garden/Oasis Pavilion. Race organizers will provide light food/snacks TBD after the race.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at the Hyde Park Ice Rink adjacent to the Oasis Pavilion.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers and all participants will be able to download custom finisher certificates from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race! Age group decals will be presented that can be affixed to your finisher medal.

14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
